As I'm sure most of you know, you can make money blogging. In fact some people make very good money blogging. Heather Armstrong, better known as Dooce, supports her family from her blog alone. She made so much last year through her blog, that her husband was able to quit his job. (My husband is still holding out hope for this!)

The question is, do you know the best way to go about making money on your blog? There are several Ad networks out there, with Google Adsense being the most popular, and Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) getting off to a good start. But have you looked into Blogsvertise?

Blogsvertise is a Web site that allows you to register for free, and you get paid to advertise products or Web sites in your existing blog. The Blogsvertise advertisers want you to talk about their Web site or services in your blog. It's blogsvertising! When you blogsvertise for a specific advertiser, you can discuss their product however you want. You can support it, recommend it, or even complain about it, as long as you include links to the advertisers in your blog. So even though you are advertising, you maintain complete control of your blog by saying whatever you want!

When your blog advertisement has been posted for the pre-specified amount of time, Blogsvertise will pay you via PayPal!

Through Blogsvertise, you can make money blogging! It's a great way to earn money through your blog without having to rely on other users in the "pay per click" method of advertisers. By blogsvertising, you are relying on yourself and your blog to make money and no one else. You can use this tool in addition to or instead of your regular Ad network. The choice is up to you!

I'm curious. How much money does it make? I'm pretty nervous about these types of things being possible scams, but darn it!! I need money for Vegas!
